The demonstration starts with an unknown Linux device that has restricted access. Its connectivity tests fail, and its browser is redirected to the configured captive portal. The guest accepts the displayed terms and chooses self-registration, then supplies guest details and the sponsor’s email address. The request remains pending until the sponsor reviews the email and approves it. The guest then receives internet-only access for the displayed period; internal network access stays restricted. EasyNAC shows the guest’s identity and role in the administrator view.
Condensed from the original demonstration for readability. This video shows an earlier EasyNAC interface. Connector requirements and available checks depend on your current release and configuration.
