Check endpoint compliance through your existing tools.
Watch a supported antivirus integration provide compliance context, then see EasyNAC restrict and restore network access.
What you’ll see
- Use supported third-party security information for agentless checks.
- See how a compliance rule can override an AD-based trust decision.
- Keep the required remediation services reachable during restriction.
Video walkthrough
Review trusted-device access
The administrator reviews an AD-joined Windows endpoint with full access and the policy priority that governs compliance.
Enable the security integration
The Sophos integration checks management status, real-time scanning and the configured signature-age threshold.
Inspect the compliance restriction
The disabled-scanner condition assigns a noncompliant role. The endpoint retains the configured access needed for remediation.
Remediate and restore access
Real-time scanning is enabled again. The administrator reviews the access rules and confirms that compliant access returns.

Read the condensed transcript
The Windows device begins with full access under an AD-based policy. The administrator enables a Sophos integration and selects checks for antivirus management, disabled real-time scanning and outdated signatures. The endpoint’s disabled scanner produces a noncompliant role with limited access. Its browser explains the restriction, while configured rules keep the antivirus server reachable for remediation. The administrator enables real-time scanning again and reviews the rules controlling permitted remediation traffic. When the compliance information updates, the endpoint returns to full access. These checks use information from the demonstrated integration rather than a dedicated NAC endpoint agent.
